1/4 inch audio tape [09] Tape XXXIII 7422 Contents (The numbers that follow the consultant's' names are their assigned code numbers.): Track 1: a) Sebastian Espinola Palam (592) (971) gives the Spanish equivalents for the Tzotzil tokens. (Date: 7/14/61) b) Male consultant (from Convento), who gives his name only as "Chico", gives Spanish tokens for the Tzotzil. [undated] [Two short passages intervene here, where Diaz de Salas (?) urges a small child to sing a song.] c) Sebastian Ramírez Palam (594), who is identified on the box as "Sebastian Ramirez Wak", does the same. (Date is given as 7/13/61.) Track 2: a) Miguel Martinez Huac ["Wak" on box] (578) gives the Tzotzil tokens for the Spanish. b) Sebastian Espinosa [Palam] (592) gives the Tzotzil tokens for the Spanish ones. IMPORTANT NOTE: The name written in this spot on the box (Francisco Vasquez Wak) is not correct. (The date for this interview is given as 7/14/61 in the "Roster".) [Note: The two men named Sebastian come from the barrio of Convento in the comunidad of Venustiano Carranza (San Bartolomé de los Llanos.); Miguel Martinez Huac gives his locale as "San Pedro" (given as Calvito on the box). Further note: The identification of the consultants on this tape is extremely confused--as are the entries for them in the "Roster". So some names are arbitrarily rendered. Final note: Some consultants were assigned two code numbers--one for them as Tzotzil speakers, one for them as Spanish speakers.]
