1/4 inch audio tape “Letter” from Attinasi 12306 Contents: The tape consists of three parts: 1) Attinasi records his "letter" in half-track mono on the half-track Uher 4000 tape recorder he got from Columbia University. 2) Attinasi continues his letter (in stereo) on the same quarter-track Uher tape recorder that he took into the field so as to demonstrate the difference in quality between the two machines. 3) This is an excerpt of a (unidentified) field recording Attinasi made of a native Chol speaker. (It is not clear whether the passage is in two- track mono or in stereo.)
