- archival Tape 1 (Méndez Morales) Contents (from the front cover of the box): "José Angel Méndez Morales, 70 años / Monrovia, 25 de Mayo de 1961 / 'Ajpcaʼb' [meaning is not explained]". Several unnamed persons converse with Méndez entirely in Mam.
- archival D. & D. Peck 2 (Barrientos/Mansilla) Tape 2 (Carreto / López) Contents (from the back cover of the box): (Note: Only the notations in red ink pertain to the present recording.) "lleno 1/2 rrollo: Luis Carreto, Canton San Sebastian, Ostuncalco 22 de Mayo 1961 / 1/2 rrollo: Mateo López, 67 años, Concepsion [sic] Chiquirichapa, 22 de Mayo 1961." An unnamed native speaker conducts the interview exclusively in Mam.Note: It is possible that interviews with Don Oscar Barrientos and Manuolo Mansilla were copied over.
- archival Tape 1x (Morales?) Contents: The old box contained on the back only these notes: “20 y tres cuart[os] Marto Gómes” with the date '12-9-58' in the lower left-hand corner." Note that the "20 y tres cuart" probable refers to the age of the consultant. The consultant, however, could be Morales inasmuch as the acetate stock, the loud switching transients, and the background acoustics point to an affinity between this tape and the one digitized as "mam-pecks-ntrvs-1.wav".
- archival D. & D. Peck 4 (Benjamin White) Tape 1xx Contents: The original box contained only the notation “Benjamin White”. It is unlikely that a Mam speaker would have that name. Here a young male speaker of Mam interviews another man of indeterminate age.
- archival Tape 4 (Felipa Rosales) Contents (from the back of the box): "Felipa Rosales, 23 años, hija de Vicente Rosales / Canton San Sebastian Ostuncalco <Side no. 1> / 12 de Julio de 1961". An unnamed man interviews Rosales in Mam only.
- archival Tape 3 (Santiago Aguilón) Contents (from the back of the box): "Agustín Martinez Magaña / Pedro Antonio Arona / 20 1/2) Santiago Aguilón, 20 años, San juan [sic] Ostuncalco / 26 de Mayo 1961, isquierda 25 menos 1 cuarto" [the meaning of last phrase is unknown]". The listing of Arona and Martinez probably indicates that they are the interviewers, and it appears that there are two male interviewers. All speak only Mam. (The notation "20 1/2" refers to the length of the recording.)
- archival Tape 5 (Mateo Carreto) Contents (from the front cover of the box): "Mateo Carreto, 45 años. La Victoria / 27 de Julio de 1961 (Side #1)". An unnamed native speaker conducts the interview entirely in Mam. Note: La Victoria is a village in the municipio of San Juan Ostuncalco.
- archival Tape 6 (Gómez Ruiz) Contents (from the front cover of the box): "Fermin Gomes [sic] Ruiz / Canton Agua Tibia / S.J. Ost". (McQuown spells the name as "Fermín Gómez Ruiz".) An unnamed male speaker asks occasional questions, but the interview is mostly Don Fermín's monologue.
- sound mam-pecks-ntrvs-2-ed Contents=Track 1 of the tape, edited (There is no Track 2.)
- image mam-pecks-ntrvs-txt Image is of the backs and inside front covers of six of the boxes (i.e.,excluding "1x" and "1xx"). Note: The handwriting inside the front covers is that of N.A. McQuown.
